New study of Postnatal Depression

Having Twins, Triplets, or more increases chances of postnatal depression

Mothers who have multiple births are slightly more at risk of postnatal depression, a new study has found. The researchers say women having more than one baby should be offered plenty of support, and that doctors and midwives should be especially alert to signs of depression in these women.
